LET’S CLEAN PLOVDIV TOGETHER WITH THE CLEAN GREEN CAMPAIGN

We are extremely happy to be part of the Plovdiv Municipality's campaign to clean the entire urbanized territory of the city, 
which will take place on April 2, 2022, starting at 10:30, simultaneously in the 6 districts of Plovdiv.

We want to welcome spring with a clean and beautiful city, 
so the focus of this campaign will be the collection of household waste.
 Along with this, the main green areas will also be cleaned, with the idea being to pay attention to areas 
that are cleaned less often and are not in good condition. One of these territories is the inter-block spaces in the city," 
commented Deputy Mayor for Ecology Anesti Timchev.

Each district administration has designated points where those willing to join the
initiative will receive sacks and gloves, including sacks for separate collection, so that the waste can be separated. 
Each point will cover a certain microdistrict, which the citizens will clean. 
At each of the locations, employees of the Municipality of Plovdiv/district administrations will assist
citizens and guide them on the correct collection and disposal of garbage.

The director of OP "Gardens and Parks" Veselin Kozarev appealed to the participants in the cleanup to collect biodegradable waste, such as leaves and branches, in separate bags from those for household waste, so that it can be processed properly. Kozarev and the deputy director of OP "Cleanliness" Nikolay Georgiev assured that all available equipment of the enterprises will be available on the day of the action.

A special prize fund is planned for the participants who will join the campaign. At each of the points, boxes/urns will be placed where citizens can drop a slip with a name and phone number to participate in the raffle. Winners will be drawn at the end of the day in each area. Participants will also receive promotional canvas bags with the campaign logo.

The prize fund consists of gifts and cash vouchers, some of which are provided by the largest partner in the campaign - "Thrace Economic Zone". "Bio Fresh" is also a partner of the event.
